Matthew Best is the President of Best Solutions – a firm he founded in 2004 that is dedicated to unleashing excellence.

Matthew is an Entrepreneurial Coach.  He works primarily with business owners, decision makers and people who work on a commission basis. His clients’ commonality is that they thrive on the entrepreneurial spirit.  They are people and organizations who want to take control of their lives and their business, reach their potential, and gain a clear focus for the future.

Matthew created the concept of EADD – Entrepreneurial Attention Deficit Disorder – to describe who his clients are and how they behave.  He recently started an EADD coaching program designed specifically for entrepreneurs and decision makers who have EADD to assist them in using it to their advantage.   

Best Solutions specializes in working with clients in financial services, information technology, health care, and sales industries.  Matthew also works with political clients to develop effective strategies and messages that will get them the results they need. 

Some of Matthew’s clients have experienced a tripling of their sales, more effective time use, better communication among colleagues and co-workers, better understanding of clients’ needs, and a greater sense of focus for their organization. 

Matthew is also a published author, co-authoring Speaking of Success with such well-known and respected authors as Ken Blanchard, Jack Canfield, and Steven Covey. Matthew also regularly contributes articles for his own Entrepreneurial blog, EADD blog, and has contributed to other entrepreneur-oriented blogs such as The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur.

Matthew earned a BA degree with honors in Political Science from Grove City College. He has worked for U.S Representative Phil English as well as Pennsylvania State Representative Will Gabig as a legislative assistant. Matthew also worked for The Redding Firm, a Washington, DC lobbying firm as well as was the President of The Atlantic Firm, Inc., a government relations firm in Carlisle, PA. Matthew has had several articles published in national and regional magazines discussing and forecasting how legislative issues of a varying degree affect small businesses. All of these previous experiences have allowed Matthew to interact in a wide variety of industries and given him an opportunity to fulfill his purpose and passion – To serve by unleashing excellence.

Matthew is a member of several community and business organizations and has served as a member of the board of directors for several non-profit organizations in the area. 

Matthew is also avid long distance runner. He has run the Harrisburg, New York City, Marine Corp, Chicago, Baltimore and Hartford marathons. He has also run numerous half marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks.

Matthew also has an active political life. He has provided strategy for and managed numerous political campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels. He works primarily with challengers to incumbents – having won 75% of the races he has worked on. He is also an avid political blogger – regularly contributing to Courage of Conviction and PA Watercooler and guest contributing to several other political blogs. PoliticsPA.com, considered by many to be one of the best sources of political news in PA, ranked Matthew as one of Pennsylvania's best political bloggers for 2005.
